The New York Nineteenth Century Society promotes the study and understanding of life in 19th-century New York City. Its members are historians, scholars, authors, reenactors, artists, and philosophers, united by their desire to experience a closer connection with the past.

My heart is all a flutter over these limited edition textiles from the Victoria & Albert Museum created for an upcoming exhibition, ‘Quilts: 1700-1810.’ My god I wish I could make it to London for this show and scoop up every one of these prints along the way….
